Meet the Wildlife Artist: Mona Jones Cordell

We all seem to come in to this world with specific interests that follow us through to adulthood. Animal wildlife has entertained me since the days of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom and the orginal "Lassie". Creating this website to display prints of my paintings and sketches of wildlife allows me the opportunity to present animal images less formally and offer them at affordable prices to viewers interested in the animal world we live in. My studio companion and daily dose of wildlife is a golden retriever name Maddie Rose. She is a constant visual delight of expression, beauty and cleverness. It is my hope that the animals exhibited on this website might touch upon a species that the viewer has a particular attachment to. Requests are welcome.

This website is dedicated to my mother Helen James whose interest and support in my work has been a consistent inspiration over the years.
